The platform is a drafting tool: it structures your evidence, writes criterion-by-criterion arguments, and compiles a filing-ready packet. Many users take that packet to an independent immigration attorney for final review and filing. Others choose to self-file. Either way, the decision about whether your background is ready for USCIS, and whether to proceed with or without counsel, is yours.

We do not offer refunds once a case is opened, because the drafting work is performed immediately and the compiled packet is delivered. We also do not guarantee approval: USCIS decisions depend on facts outside our control, and we do not evaluate whether your background is ready for adjudication — that is between you and your attorney. We are a drafting tool, not a law firm, and not a substitute for legal counsel.

Your workspace is isolated to your account and never used to train any model. All traffic is encrypted in transit, and access is scoped per case. You can export your draft and exhibits at any time, and if you delete your account we remove your data according to our retention policy. We use enterprise-grade infrastructure and do not sell or share your information with third parties except as needed to provide the service, such as sending your draft to a partner attorney if you explicitly choose that option.

We partner with independent immigration law firms who can review and file your draft at a pre-negotiated partner rate. You are never required to use a partner — you can self-file the compiled PDF, and many customers do. If you want attorney review, we introduce you to a firm that matches your route and location; any attorney-client relationship is between you and that firm. visaworker.ai does not supervise or control their work, and we do not take a referral fee that is hidden in your bill.

Yes. The core product is open-source and you can run it on your own infrastructure for free, including with your own Anthropic or OpenAI API key. If you prefer the hosted version, you can also bring your own key and pay nothing for model usage. The $249 one-time unlock only applies if you want hosted drafting without supplying your own API key. Companies and law firms can also choose a managed workspace with seats, billing controls, and support.
